I’m having trouble finding a shoe for what I do specifically. Here are my problems.
1. I’m on my feet all day with very little exception (maximum 10 minutes). This might seem like an obvious reason to get nursing shoes, but..
2. I get dirty. and I mean, dirty. I step in mud, I scoop dog poo, I dig holes, I groom animals, I get wet with soapy water, I get liquid medication all over myself when a dog decides to not like me.
3. I walk/jog/run multiple dogs a significant amount across mostly natural ground, in a field, consistently throughout the day. They need at least 3 walks/day. Some of this is uphill.
4. I do mild building and heavy cleaning and need shoes that will stand up to that sort of thing, too. Easily cleanable of dirt and dust, not likely to crumble under stray disinfectant.
5. My shoes can and will get gnawed on, on a routine basis. I don’t care how this makes them look, but they need to be able to stand up to that.
I would adore them to be cute on top of this but that’s probably asking way too much, haha. Does anyone have any suggestions, pref. from personal experience? Vet techs, zoo workers, dog walkers, rescue/shelter workers, pet sitters, anyone? They don’t have to be a perfect match. Specific recommendations if you can think of any please, I can’t go with just brands most of the time.
