What type of shoe is more professional for a nurse?

I’m starting clinicals in a couple of weeks and I have no idea what type of shoes to buy. I was wondering which looks more professional with an all white uniform- white tennis shoes, or white clogs?

White tennis shoes will look more professional, and also be easier for you to run around in all day. If you wear clogs you could lose your shoes easily, and then will not look professional at all, or even risk hurting yourself. If you don’t like tennis shoes then I would also suggest these:

    http://www.skechers.com/catalog/browse.do?function=displayProductList&gender=W&catId=5&index=0&viewAll=true&sort=popular&prodId=25021&styleCode=21687EW

they are dressier than a tennis shoe, but are still comfortable enough for you to wear all day and run around in (i have them in black and wear them for work where i have to stand 6 1/2 hours a day).

    Comfort is a must!
A lot of nurses are wearing crocs these days. Or just basic white tennies.
